Heatwave!

Heatwave?! That’s a lie, no heatwave here, but the sun did shine for a few hours last Sunday afternoon!

Sunday sunshine!

It wasn’t wall to wall sunshine last weekend – Saturday was more of the usual for this grey spring season we’ve been enjoying, but we’ve been out and about all the same.

It’s almost dry under the trees!

The real brilliance this season has come from the vibrant greens of the forest, so wonderfully fresh – inhale and enjoy!

Breathe in…

We wouldn’t want to tempt fate, but there is a rumour that summer is on the way, and it might even contain a few sunny days. Now, wouldn’t that be nice?!

I’m not going back out until it is summer…

Not too much to report, so we’ll leave it there for now. Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

A hint of blue and the promise of a warmer season ahead?

I am a would be outdoorsman - that is if I had more time, skills and knowledge. When I can, I love being outdoors, just camping, hiking, snowboarding, xc skiing, snowshoeing, paddling a canoe or trying something new. What I lack in ability, I make up for in enthusiasm and having a go. I'd never really survive for long out there in the wild, but I enjoy pretending I could if I had to...

  1. Lots of rain here-2 ” in one day and unusually cool but I am enjoying being able to sleep at night. The greens are lovely and it seems like a new shoreline. Does Scout have a pout? She’d rather be out.

  2. When I saw your title I was so happy for you, pc, to finally have a heat wave. Only to see it was a joke. Well, you may not have a lot of heat, but you do have green and wet, and that can be beautiful too. I loved hearing about the fresh air you breathed in. I hope the summer days shine bright for you more in the days ahead, my friend.

  3. Gorgeous shot of a hint of blue and I hope nice summer weather arrives quickly for precious Scout!! We were lucky to have wonderful weather for our last spring weekend and hazy hot humid weather arrives for the first day of summer. Amazed at all the record high temperatures everywhere already and think I need a few more books and shows for this weather pattern.🙂
