Far out places

It’s good to know there is a small town in northern Ontario called Moonbeam. You’ve probably heard of it – it’s known throughout the entire galaxy:

Yup

I’d read there was a UFO monument in Moonbeam (we were camping a few kilometres away) and didn’t tell Mrs PC about it, not wanting to spoil the surprise. I think it was probably more than she could ever dream of?

“Take me with you!”

After all that excitement, we had to stop for refreshments.

Stellar!

Oh yeah, and we’ve camped in some lovely spots – this might be my favourite, so far:

Somewhere near Val-d’Or, QC, Canada, the world, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe

It’s big out here! Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I am a would be outdoorsman - that is if I had more time, skills and knowledge. When I can, I love being outdoors, just camping, hiking, snowboarding, xc skiing, snowshoeing, paddling a canoe or trying something new. What I lack in ability, I make up for in enthusiasm and having a go. I'd never really survive for long out there in the wild, but I enjoy pretending I could if I had to...

    1. We’re boldly going somewhere, to borrow a phrase, and pretty much liking these strange new spaces!
Yeah, we’re all space dust in different configurations when you break it down, and I like that thought – thanks, Walt!

  1. Love it! Totally out of this world, or maybe it was created by some UFO enthusiast from this one. Either way, lots of fun I’m sure. Keep enjoying. Looks great out there!

  2. Very cool spaceship in Moonbeam, pc. I love that you kept it a surprise for Mrs. PC. I’m happy to see you two are enjoying your adventures. And your camping spot is a lovely place on earth. Cheers!

    1. I was a bit taken aback by how enthusiastic Mrs. PC was for all things alien – she normally shakes her head at my nerdy sci-fi tendencies, but who wanted their photo taken standing next to our off world visitor? (She wouldn’t let me post that one!)
I hope your week is going well!

    1. Scout wasn’t all that interested in aliens – too many sticks to chew if we weren’t looking – but Mrs.PC? I had no idea how much she really, really likes spaceships and little green men. I don’t think she’s ever stayed awake through a sci-fi movie, ET excepted. She’ll be dragging us to Trek conventions…
I hope your week is going well, heat and all!
