It’s good to know there is a small town in northern Ontario called Moonbeam. You’ve probably heard of it – it’s known throughout the entire galaxy:
I’d read there was a UFO monument in Moonbeam (we were camping a few kilometres away) and didn’t tell Mrs PC about it, not wanting to spoil the surprise. I think it was probably more than she could ever dream of?
After all that excitement, we had to stop for refreshments.

I was a bit taken aback by how enthusiastic Mrs. PC was for all things alien – she normally shakes her head at my nerdy sci-fi tendencies, but who wanted their photo taken standing next to our off world visitor? (She wouldn’t let me post that one!)

Scout wasn’t all that interested in aliens – too many sticks to chew if we weren’t looking – but Mrs.PC? I had no idea how much she really, really likes spaceships and little green men. I don’t think she’s ever stayed awake through a sci-fi movie, ET excepted. She’ll be dragging us to Trek conventions…
