Got back to the warmer west coast last weekend after a brief and chilly (but chilled) eastern Canadian trip, and hoped to see early spring signs – nope, not for now. Hmm…
Huh?
A very short placeholder this week, before getting back to more complete posts next week, once we’ve defrosted/dug ourselves out!
Not so bad – all paw drive
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend – I’ll leave you with a taster and unsubtle hint as to where we were for a few days last week:
I am a would be outdoorsman - that is if I had more time, skills and knowledge. When I can, I love being outdoors, just camping, hiking, snowboarding, xc skiing, snowshoeing, paddling a canoe or trying something new. What I lack in ability, I make up for in enthusiasm and having a go. I'd never really survive for long out there in the wild, but I enjoy pretending I could if I had to...

Hope you had a great visit to Montreal. Looking forward to hearing about it.
That is still westward to me.
Thanks, Kelly! Yup, not too much more than over halfway across?! Still, the drive, ferry and then plane ride made it seem far enough east for this trip!
We don’t appreciate how big Canada is until a trip like yours is done. I love getting on a ferry, but they are time consuming. It’s the reason why it took me so long to finally go to Nfld. I completely understand
What caught my eye most was the bone china holding the snacks and the latte, of course. So you are a Habs fan? Both hockey and weather are so unpredictable, it is hard to tell what is next.
I follow the hockey, a Flames fan mostly, but I’ll support any and all Canadian teams come the playoffs – most seasons, can’t rely solely on the Flames…!
I hope all is well with you!
I had no idea there could ever be a chance for cross-country skiing where you live!!☃️ What’s happening out on the west coast, I’ve been amazed by the amount of snow in California and Harper and I still haven’t recovered from our thundersnow. As always, Scout looks prepared for all seasons. Recently watched one of my travel shows about Montreal and would love to visit one day and am looking forward to the photos and reading about your trip. At this point we will have to skip the Premier League talk and switch to discussing the new season of Ted Lasso!! Love the coffee and hat and hope you’re either enjoying a few signs of spring or have your skis ready!🙂
Montreal is a delightful city, highly recommend a visit!
The snow has gone, but spring doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to show up… The walloping California got has been astonishing – there’s snow and then there’s snow. Yikes! Thunder snow must be cool, at least the first few minutes?!
When, as is inevitable, Sean Dyche is fired, my hopes are Ted will be available? Although he’d probably prefer Spurs once Conte walks…
