Phew! We got through the somewhat dull days of November, helped enormously by the very much appreciated end of month snowfall – for us, everything looks better with a light (or heavy) dusting of snow! Once the last leaves drop, it might as well snow, and, for now, it has!

So it’s goodbye November and welcome to winter!

I’ll keep it brief for this post and limit things to a few photos taken out and about the past week or so.

We have our fingers crossed that the temperature dip to more seasonal numbers is consistent, and that the promised snowy winter predicted by forecasters this season comes to pass…

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

1° and nearly a foot of snow here in Northwestern Pennsylvania. 🥶

Bob, I hope your early snow is sticking and you can get out on xc skis!

Snow makes everything better, and there is more light, as well. Always happy about that!

Agreed – the winter light after a snowfall is so much better and brighter than grey, grey, grey… got a chinook ruining it all today, but supposed to be colder temperatures and a touch more snow between now and the weekend – here’s hoping!
Thanks, Jane, and enjoy your wintry week!

Love the photo of you and Scout enjoying the snow!! It’s definitely winter here and we had another six inches of snow overnight. Obviously everything about my life has been thrown off schedule and I can’t believe how fast this month is going by. I’ve watched a few of my favorite holiday movies, but need to finally listen to some holiday music. Enjoy the snow and week!🙂

Thank you! I think you’ve had more snow than here – no new snow today, but it is -18c – Scout actually headed for home a little earlier than usual, and I wasn’t complaining…
Our holiday movies will probably be the usual – It’s a Wonderful Life, Die Hard, Gremlins, and a version of A Christmas Carol (I like the muppet one, I really do!) I don’t think Hot Frosty is getting a repeat viewing?
Enjoy your music and movies!
