More daylight hours are coming as we pass the solstice, and no complaints about that here. That said, winter is probably my favourite season when there’s snow on the ground and nostrils freeze when you breathe in. I know, enjoying that is slightly odd…

Anyway, here are a few photographs to share, mostly of lights and sights we’ve enjoyed in the neighbourhood the past little while.

Keeping it brief, so I’ll end by wishing you all the very best for the coming year!

I can relate! I too love winter and cold. More daylight is indeed a blessing! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Was that ICM? Intentional camera movement- it looks good! Nice take on the lights in the other images, too. Enjoy this time and wish you, Mrs. PC and Scout many adventures in the new year.

I really enjoyed this festive parade of lights, pc, thanks for brightening up this rainy day for me. I send my best wishes to you and Mrs. PC for a really wonderful new year. It’s been lovely staying in touch with you this year, witnessing all your many outdoor adventures, and always receiving the gift of a chuckle with your spirited writing.

Thanks, Jet, for these lovely words, I appreciate it!
I know getting enough rain is important to your part of the world, so it’s good to hear it has been a rainy day there – but I’ll always prefer snow!
