…just outside Merritt, BC. After a few rain showers, we took a short hike along the shore of Nicola Lake, following a pretty trail winding through towering ponderosa pines. These are such beautiful trees, so striking with their red trunks and long, long needles. I’ll keep it brief and let the trees and the lake do the talking below!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I so very much enjoyed being in the ponderosa pines here, pc. Love those big skies, long needles, red trunks, gorgeous lake and quiet trail. Thanks so much for taking us along today, my friend. I’m delighted to see you and Mrs. PC are continuing your wild adventures. Sending best wishes to you both~~

I love the red textured bark of these trees, which nicely surround your raised, well-groomed campsite. The reds and greens in the photos look so pretty next to the blue skies and waters. Looks like you have good weather, to boot. This is a reminder to get going on my blog. Been so lazy…Did you get on the Coquihalla highway? Enjoyed your views, getting excited for a brief trip to Jasper at the end of the month. Safe travels…
