On our travels and with indifferent/intermittent internet connection, so I’ll keep this very short. If you want to play along, feel free to hazard a guess as to where we’ve ended up – maybe not so hard to work out from the photos provided?

We’ve had a delightful time eating and drinking more than usual, and trying to walk some of it off as we wander around this small(ish) and very friendly city. Anyway, low bars on the wifi indicator, and more bars requiring our attention, so I’ll leave it here this week.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Looks wonderful, wherever it is. Wish you all the best for safe, happy traveling throughout (Quebec?), and look forward to learning more!

Thanks, Walt! Yes, Quebec, and Quebec City in the main. Absolutely loved it, a smallish city full of life and places to explore. More to follow…
I hope all is well with you!

I have never been there, but thinking Victoria, BC? the baked goods look yummy with coffee to go. It is a good life.

We visited Quebec City, and although they are so far from each other, we did find ourselves thinking how similar they were in some ways – friendly, walkable and not too big, with many scenic features.
Yes, coffee and flaky baked goods were excellent!
Thanks, Jane, and I hope all is well with you!

Thank you! It was so good to be in Quebec City, and we enjoyed it even more than we’d hoped. A lovely city to walk around, and it seems one is never too far from a cafe, or bar, or restaurant… wonderful!
I hope all is well with you!

I enjoyed your photos of Quebec City and the Chateau Frontenac, pc. My sister and husband visited this city and luxury hotel a few weeks ago, sent me photos, so I actually knew where you were here. How wonderful for you and mrs. pc to have a nice getaway. Sending lots of smiles….

How wonderful for your sister and her husband to be able to visit QC – hope they enjoyed it, we certainly did! (We’ve stayed at other Fairmont hotels, but couldn’t bring ourselves to pay the nightly rate at the Frontenac – ouch!)

Great images, thanks for sharing. Years ago, I planned to visit Quebec on a 6-week roadtrip. By the time I got to the Canadian border, I was already homesick & decided against it. Another time, for sure! 🌞
