Scout and I decided to wait for a break in the rain before heading out. After three or four days, we gave up on waiting and off we went. It was raining.
We enjoyed the rainy view across the inner harbour:

Can we get a close up on that, confirm the rain?

Then we went to look out across the inlet to Hitacu. Scout was distracted by the mirror dog following her every move:

It was still raining, giving the place a glistening and spruced up look:

We thought we saw something pop up to say “hi” but missed it. We waited, but I think they decided it was drier beneath the surface…

When we turned for home it started to rain even more heavily. Really?!

When the hail started, even though we were very close to home, Scout insisted we take shelter and wait for it to ease up before continuing:

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! (What was that? Our weekend forecast for here? More rain!)
Thanks for taking us on your walk with Scout, pc, I really enjoyed it (I also liked not getting wet as I did). The dock does look spruced up with the rain, the red paint color so vivid, and I chuckled when you mentioned Scout and his shadow. Fun walk, thanks very much, my friend.

Thanks, Jet, and we’re glad you enjoyed this one. I’m only going to whisper it, but it’s almost sunny this morning, and there’s a rumour going around town that it’ll be almost sunny or better for a week or more…
I hope your week is off to a great start!

Enjoyed the walk, even though I could feel the soaking wet. Smart dog , taking cover when the hail came. hope it didn’t last long or do any damage.

No damage, and, after many many rainy days, we’re looking at a dry spell of maybe a week or more (and even some sunshine!)
Thanks, Jane, and I hope your week is off to a great start!

Sometimes rain can bring the color out in ways that the sun can’t do. Like “something that popped up from the surface.” Nice capture, Adam.

Thanks, Walt! It’s a rainforest, and beautiful, with rain happily accepted – but the promise of a dry spell and even some sun the next week or more is also very welcome!
I hope your spring adventures are going well!

Thanks, Kelly, it was a good one! The last of the current rain fell overnight and we woke to increasingly blue skies and the promise of sunshine (allegedly for a week or more – spring again!)
I hope you’re healing well and looking forward to some spring adventures!

Love the Rainy View and Scout’s Mirror Dog!! We had a similar weather weekend that also included a very cold morning walk and a freeze warning for the walk tomorrow morning. Such great timing again this morning, turned on the Spurs match right after our walk and wish I had stayed out in the cold longer. Thankfully the Maple Leafs have been exciting to watch the last two games and I’m hoping for an Oilers win tonight (I haven’t completely panicked over the jinx). Enjoy the week and hopefully some sunshine!

That Spurs result – after reflection, it made the dreary Everton draw (and valuable point) seem better than it was. I can’t see Harry staying with Spurs…
Leafs doing ok, Bruins looking good, Oilers with some work to do, at least the hockey is watchable!
Scout and I enjoyed an almost warm and sunny walk this morning – is this spring trying again… we hope so!
I hope it warms up out your way for the coming week and Harper enjoys more daffodils!
